Ignis Sport Up-graded Clutch Kit debut!

Suzuki Sport Co., Ltd. has announced Ignis Sport Up-graded Clutch Kit from September 1st.

Giving more reliability and durability at competition use, we have up-graded the springs and facings in order to assure perfect transmitting of the torque at high rpm’s and load.
The disc has low inertia to give better response in engine and also not to give too much load on synchronizers during gear changes.

■Suzuki Sport Pressure Plate

【1】Up-graded diaphragm springs
Spring pressure power has been increased about 34% （(390kg→520kg） to give larger capacity on torque transmitting. It will hold up to about 200ps engines.

【2】Up-graded pressure plate
　Pressure plate is made from one piece casting which gives superb reliability especially on high rpm’s. It will be a great advantage on circuit use.
【3】3×3 Up-graded strap plate
　Plate has been increased to give more durability even on the quick heavy usage of clutch. For example, after the long straight on top speed going into the corners where you need to quickly shift down.

Plate has more spring rate which gives quicker response of disengaging. This will protect the gearbox especially on synchronizers.

■Suzuki Sport Clutch Disc

【1】Damper springs quantity and designs has been re-considered. The torque capacity has been increased by 80% compare to genuine disc.
This will protect the gearbox from instant heavy torque inputs.

【2】The shaft spline boss has been increased from genuine 15mm to 19mm, which is 27% more.

・More area gives less stress on spline teeth which will make the life longer. Also the disc will be more steady when it moves which gives accurate clutch movement.

【3】Two types of discs are available for depending on usage.

■Non-asbestos disc
　Round type（Material : Non-asbestos）

・Small clutch work can be achieved.
・From normal usage to sport use

■Metal disc
　3 wing type（Material : Metal）

・Low inertia has been achieved which protects synchronizers during shifting.
・Cushion plate has been removed in order to give direct feelings when engaging.
・Metal material has high friction and durability on heat. It will give excellent transmitting power yet long life.
